About Go Shala

  • As part of Gurukulam activities, Go Shala is maintained in the same premises of the Gurukulam.
  • There are 7 cows, 2 buffaloes and 4 calves.
  • An attendant is employed to take care of the cows in our Gurukulam.
  • His duties are to keep the Go Shala clean, wash the cows daily, milk at required intervals, feed them etc.,
  • Also, periodical Go Pooja – both regular and on request is being conducted in the Go shala.
  • A Vet Doctor visit is arranged as and when necessary to ensure that all the cows are hale and healthy.
  • Cattle feed is arranged regularly for the cows, buffalos and calves in the Gurukulam.
  • An Admin posted in the Gurukulam is overseeing the activities.
Devotees are encouraged to donate a fixed regular (monthly) sum towards Go Samrakshanam.
